This sweater has a loose knit and raw edges that are designed to loosen and fray. The edges are intended to have a "decaying" effect over time –an evolution that can only come with love and wear from the owner. The red contrast stitching at the hems is there to prevent the fraying beyond a certain point. Slim, cropped fit. The material is semi-sheer. Looks smashing worn as a top, or can be layered over a slip dress. Good condition. Minimal pulling to the knit. Fraying around the neck, shoulders / armpit, and the bottom. There's a particular large amount of wear (almost down to the red seam) in the left armpit. Again, the knit was left raw outside of the red stitches for a purposefully decaying effect. Therefore, this wear is completed intended in the design. Shoulder to shoulder ~14.5 inches. Armpit to armpit ~16.25 inches. Length ~16 inches (front, center).
