These boots were worn just a couple of times. They were re-soled, as with the original leather sole they were too elegant and it also made them impractical on wet London streets. They were upgraded to an all weather Dainite rubber sole, and this resoling was carried out by the renowned James Taylor and sons of Marylebone, shoemakers since 1857. The boots are in excellent condition and are a really lovely piece of workmanship and style. Great to touch, supple and strong Leather but soft and smooth also. With great detailing around the seems. New, I paid for them, and or so for the re-soling. I don’t really want to sell them as just looking at them makes me happy if I’m honest. So the price is because I don’t really mind keeping them. Top but now these would be more than and that is before the modification. If you do buy them I'm sure you will be as much a fan of them as I am. It’s really difficult not to be. These boots come without original box (will be sent in a Hogan or Tod's box) but will include original dust bags.
