Woven Leather Clip On Earrings by Chanel Circa 1980's Gold plated circle with black Chanel logo in center Interwoven black leather and gold chain border. Made in France Condition: poor vintage condition. Some small scratches on gold plated center. Size/Measurements: 1.5" diameter .75" clip length CHANEL vintage iconic rigid chain clip-on earrings embellished with intertwined black leather and featuring a CC logo at the center. Material : Gold tone metal hardware / leather. Much of the gilding has worn off in areas around the chain and logo, especially on one of them. The leather is worn, it is no longer a continuous strand of woven leather. This Jewelry stamping by CHANEL dates back to the period of between 1971 and 1980. Please look at pictures carefully. These earrings are classic, but in rough condition. My mother wore these earrings most every day and you can tell. I suppose they could be restored. They are authentic and they were much loved.
