The wood heel height is 1/2" if measured from the back of the heel. The inside heel to toe measurement is 8.875". This style did seem to run small and I think it would be more comfortable if you were a US size 5.5 or a small US size 6. This shoe came from Saks in Beverly Hills and comes with its original box and dust covers. The size 36 shoes have never been worn. They were originally including Beverly Hills, CA tax.
